These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the WeightMate Nutrition mobile application (“the app”) published by Bradley Emerson under the developer name ProApps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) on iOS and Android. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple App Store license (EULA)

If you obtained WeightMate Nutrition from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and is incorporated into these Terms:

If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA for an App Store purchase, Apple’s Standard EULA controls for that purchase.

Google Play

If you obtained WeightMate Nutrition from Google Play, Google Play’s terms of service also apply to that distribution relationship.

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use WeightMate Nutrition on devices you own or control, for your own food and nutrition logging. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or resell the app except as allowed by applicable law or the store’s terms.

What this app is — and is not

WeightMate Nutrition is a food logging and personal feedback tool. It helps you record what you eat, review calories and macros, and — if you choose — see how blood glucose readings from your phone’s health platform may relate to meals you logged.

The app is not:

We do not ask you to tell us whether you have diabetes or any other medical condition, and we do not recommend insulin doses, bolus amounts, medication timing, or other treatment decisions.

Not medical advice — read carefully

All numbers, scores, charts, meal–glucose summaries, pattern labels, and text in the app are informational only. They are based on data you log, third-party food databases, and — if you opt in — blood glucose readings imported from Apple Health or Android Health Connect.

That information can be wrong, incomplete, delayed, or misleading. CGM data shared through Health platforms may arrive hours after the reading. Food database entries may be inaccurate. AI meal photo estimates are guesses, not measurements.

Do not use the app to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease; to decide whether to eat or fast; to adjust insulin or other medication; or to respond to a medical emergency. Always confirm glucose readings on your CGM or meter and follow guidance from qualified professionals.

If you are pregnant, nursing, have an eating disorder, take medication, or have any health concern, consult a qualified professional before changing how you eat based on app information.

Your goals and data are yours

Calorie and macro targets you set in the app are your choices. We do not validate them for your health needs. Discuss goals with a qualified professional before relying on them.

Optional blood glucose features

If you enable glucose import, the app reads blood glucose data you already store in Apple Health or Health Connect and analyzes it on your device alongside meals you logged. The app describes patterns such as rise from baseline, time to peak, or repeated responses to similar meals. These descriptions are educational feedback about your logged data, not clinical instructions.

You can turn glucose import off at any time in Profile. Raw glucose cached on your device and computed outcomes can be removed by disabling the feature and clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.

Accounts

WeightMate Nutrition may use the same sign-in account as the separate WeightMate fitness app when both use our shared authentication provider. Nutrition data (food logs, targets, recipes) is stored under your account as described in our Privacy policy.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. To request account deletion, see Delete account & data.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, scrape food databases in violation of their terms, or use the app in a way that violates law or these Terms.

Third-party food and health data

The app may query public food databases (for example USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) and optional platform health APIs. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms and your device permissions.

Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for health outcomes related to your use of the app, including decisions you make based on glucose charts, scores, or summaries. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may also be shown in the app before you continue using it.
